I regret the day I signed up for solar with Trinity. I regret ever getting involved with trinity and Dustin **. Trinity hands you off to Sunnova solar and that is where my troubles began. In little over two years with solar my system is down again. The first times was 6 months. This time I am five weeks and counting. Two bad inverters in less than three years. Sunnova still will charge you a monthly bill and you are producing nothing. I called dustin the first time and he did nothing. When dustin was here selling us the system he made it sound like sunnova was their parent company.

Their installation nearly set my house on fire. With confirmation from both the fire department and a team of electricians, Trinity Solar takes no responsibility for their job poorly (and dangerously) done. $8,500 later, I’ve been told we’re out of luck and they won’t own up to their crucial error. They told me I “should have called them first.” Sorry, Trinity Solar - with two small kids sleeping upstairs on a Friday night and wall that felt like it was on fire (because it was about to be), I didn’t think to call my pals over at fun sun panels incorporated. Thanks, though. Guess I’ll be seeing them in court. I have plenty of photo evidence showing every inch of their mistakes.

Took almost six months to install the system and then a few visits over two months to get it working. The system worked for about four months then stopped working. Trinity has conducted five service calls over two months and still the system does not work. We paid $10k for a non functional system. Their installation and service personnel are unaware and inexperienced. Do not use this company. Stay away.

It is with great disappointment that I feel compelled to share my recent experience with Trinity Solar. Unfortunately, their track record of missing multiple appointments and providing subpar customer service has left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I strongly caution anyone considering their services to think twice and explore alternative options.

From the outset, Trinity Solar portrayed themselves as a reliable and customer-focused organization. However, it quickly became evident that their promises were nothing more than empty words. The first appointment they missed was our initial consultation, leaving me perplexed and frustrated. Not only did they fail to show up, but they also neglected to communicate or provide any explanation for their absence. This lack of professionalism was concerning, to say the least.

Hoping that it was an isolated incident, I rescheduled the consultation and gave them another chance. Unfortunately, history repeated itself, and they missed the second appointment as well. Once again, I was left waiting, wasting precious time and energy. Their disregard for punctuality and their customers' schedules is simply unacceptable.

Attempting to address the issue with Trinity Solar's customer service proved to be an exercise in frustration. Multiple calls to customer service only resulted in offers of rescheduling more appointments. It seemed that once they had secured my interest, their commitment to delivering on their promises evaporated. Their dismissive attitude and lack of accountability only added insult to injury.

The consequences of their missed appointments extend beyond mere inconvenience. I had hoped to transition to solar energy, both for environmental reasons and to reduce my energy costs. However, due to Trinity Solar's repeated failures, I am now left in limbo, uncertain about my next steps and wary of entrusting my solar installation to a company that has demonstrated such unreliability.

In conclusion, I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed I am with Trinity Solar. Their repeated failure to honor their commitments, coupled with their dismissive customer service, has shattered my trust in their ability to provide a reliable and satisfactory service. I strongly advise potential customers to explore other options and seek out a solar company that values professionalism, punctuality, and customer satisfaction. Don't make the same mistake I did by placing your trust in Trinity Solar.

Salerep was courteous and knowledgeable. Timeframe was within 45 days. install only took one day. Unfortunately, I thought the solar would cover 100% of my usage but I hadn't been there quite a year so they did some type of calculation. My utility charges me about $30-$70 each Feb but that's it. I love solar. Saving me so much money, Trinity Solar is def a company that stands by their product and installation. I had one issue with a wire coming out of attic with an opening. I think they forgot to caulk but they came out within a few days of my call. And all is well. Another time the inverter outside my home stopped communicating once and they walked me through what to do to fix it.

This company offers you $700 to make a contract with them for you and the person who referred you. My friend, the person who referred me, had to fight for her $700, I have been waiting for mine for almost 3 years. According to them, I need to send a form which I have sent 4 times, they only say that I have not sent it when I even have photos putting them in the mailbox. They won't pay you the $700. There is also no saving $ by placing these solar panels, I pay almost the same as without them.

In 2019 Trinity Solar installed 60 solar panels on our garage. At the time of installation Trinity told us that they would monitor our system and make sure that it remained in working condition. They also said that our Penelec bill wouldn't be more than $10-$15 a month, this is on top of the $254 that we pay Trinity to lease their solar panels. In August we received a Penelec bill for $30, so my husband checked our system and realized it wasn't working properly. Trinity wasn't monitoring it like they said they would. We contacted them so they would come and repair it, they didn't. They have set up several appointments and then cancel them without telling us why.

My husband calls Trinity and they refuse to give him an explanation as to why they won't come and fix the system. Several times, they told him they would find out what was going on and let him know, but they never call him back. In September 2022, our Penelec bill was $113 on top of the $254 that we pay to lease the panels. We have no extra electricity in the "bank" to cover our winter bills. My husband and I are both retired, we do not have the extra money to pay higher bills because Trinity refuses to fix their system. This is our experience with Trinity Solar and Sunnova and we know of others in our area that are experiencing similar problems. We live in PA.

Updated on 10/02/2022: As of this date 10/02/22 I have not heard a word from the company. It's like they don't exist. Hoping for no snow this year, as last year the snow slide from panels but froze before it could fall off. Pulled drain pipe from house. Had to get it fixed this summer. Paid myself. It's sad that a company cannot uphold there responsibly, it's not like I'm asking for something I shouldn't have, other companies won't touch it!! This was something that was supposed to be done in the beginning. Beware Trinity Solar. Not reliable at all. Wish I knew then what I know now.

Original Review: Wait for return call that never comes. If I get someone, it's like I'm talking a strange language, what do you want? What is that? One time I got a call back, but nothing ever happened. Picked up the phone one day Just to see who it was, they said they had been trying to get in touch with me, but there was never any messages on the answering machine. (I would have called them back immediately.) 3 years now, 74. I forget to pursue them happily. Snow is falling off panels onto my electric wires, not a good place if you think about it. But they installed them without these accessories, which other companies say they should have. Big snow big pounding of my electric wires.

I was tricked into a lease agreement by sunnova/Trinity Solar. I wanted to buy the panels and system but they had me sign a lease agreement that I never read. I was told they got a loan approval for buying the system and that is what I was signing. I don't want money. I just want what I originally agreed to verbally.

Homeowners BEWARE! If you have ever considered going solar, I would highly recommend it HOWEVER do not take the ultimate risk in using Trinity Solar!!! My wife and I bought our home in 2017 and wanted to have solar installed in 2018. We were originally denied by SolarCity due to the "ridge sag" and general condition of the roof, no harm no foul. Fast forward 2 months we are solicited by a Trinity sales rep, Mark ** (who I believe has since quit the company) and told that "SolarCity is an Elon Musk company out in a Cali, they don't care, we do thousands of homes in NJ." I mentioned the roof concerns, he shrugged them off and said it would be no issue.

Well, here we are at the end of summer 2021 and my wife and I had to have our entire roof replaced due to severe structural damage and leakage caused directly from the solar panels that were not properly rated to be installed on our roof. This was the professional opinion of 7 different roofing companies we had come out to give us an estimate. Would you like to know what Trinity Solar's response was when we called them and asked for the panels to be removed? After 3 weeks of non response to hundreds of phones calls and emails, my wife was finally able to speak to "Brian" the customer service manager.

Brian was nice enough to inform my wife that Trinity Solar would be charging us $5000 to remove and reinstall their panels that destroyed our roof, but since they took 3 weeks to even acknowledge us, he would do us a favor and give us a 50% discount. Thanks Brian!!! Once the service was completed (and the team left their debris and trash all over my yard), my wife and I respectfully requested to Brian to at least be forgiven the reinstall fee, since it was realistically the fault of the solar company that our roof failed. We were told, quite literally, "Trinity Solar does not believe the integrity of a roof has anything to do with their product."

So, moral of the review, solar power is great...but Trinity Solar truthfully believes that the safety of your family and integrity of your home's roof have absolutely no meaning to them. They have admitted to knowingly installing product on a compromised structure and then shifting the blame to the consumer. Please beware! Save yourselves tens of thousands of dollars in repairs and heartache by not dealing with this company! I wouldn't recommend them to my worst foe and I cannot wait for the day to sell my home and be done with Trinity Solar forever!
